Hey, ive got a few questions. i have made a game. i dont know if it works cuz i put it in, but says cant read. i dont have my ps2 modded. is that what is supposed to happen? what is better, modchip, non solder modchip, slide card, or flip top? and concerning the slide card, do you always have to slide it or only one time? is there a way to boot them w/o having one of these? and what is the best type of product available? thanks so much in advanced.

you need a modchip or boot disc in order to play backups. If you cant solder, get a boot disc.
you have to slide them under every time you play. Get a fliptop if you dont want to do that.

a successfully burnt backup game placed in an unmodded console will give you the RSOD (red screen of death) where it tells you this isn't a Playstation game blah blah blah..........if your getting an error either your backup was unsuccessful or the quality of the media makes it such that your laser can not read the disk. if the latter of the two a mod chip or swapping will not correct the problem.
