OK .... I've been seaching threads for over 12 hours now and have some slight improvements in DL speed. I've been using Bitlord 1.1 for 6 months and settling with under 10KB/sec dl on a 5MB DL capability. I finaly opened some ports and everything picked up. But most DL are less than 10KBs and some are 50KBs. I used to wait weeks for 1G movies and I've cut it in half but you folks seem to me doing better ... WTF!?
Log for Bitlord is as follows:

Aren't you guys supposed to be helping me? In any event, I did the Bitcomit thing, as directed and still have wild fluxuations. If I only DL one bit torrent then I see it move between 16KB to 110KB/sec.
Increasing the number of DL's to 3 ups the overal rate as high as 150KB/sec shared by all.
Bitloard and Bitcomit look exactly the same to me including their setting. I have no viruses or spyware on the system. What do I do next?
Thanks ........

To all that are looking at this and thinking that BitComet is a wonderful thing...it may be...but some private trackers are banning it from being used to download their files because it doesn't recognize the 'private tracker' flag. (ie you can download private tracker files from anywhere and don't have to be a member of that tracker)
These trackers plus others currently ban bitcomet and I'm sure more will follow:
-Torrentit.com
-Torrent-Damage.net

let me guess... these are the same aholes that are putting pass words on rar files? anyone who gives there e mail address to a private tracker is definately not living in the same country as me. we have something called the patriot act that lets govt by-pass all other laws, and piracy has been chosen as a major money maker for terroist. just ask ellite torrents--- they didnt even have to wait for a search warrent before they raided their severs. now there tapping phones without a warrent from a judge. whats next? echeolon?
