problem copying dvds made by GoVideo standalone vhs dub station

So check this..
its basically a one button copy..vhs to DVD
We put the standalone made dvd in the computer, not able to copy it..gives an "end of user area" error.
I think its due to the files that the standalone adds..the other Video folder, not the VIDEO_TS stuff..
I've tried copying the VIDEO_TS folder to the desktop and burning a video dvd using that method, and it gives that same error..
Alcohol doesn't do anything with it either as far as copying.
Roxio doe even less..Nero is our next option..
Any ideas?
We're using a burning mode that allows for like 4 hours of content.. can those be copied?
