I get this error message when I go to back up.
"DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue.
There is not enough space on your target drive."
My target drive has a brand new blank disc.
Also, if I go to Properties on my burner drive it says the disc is full (all blue) but no space used or left. HELP!!

By target drive DVD Shrink is referring to your HDD, you'll need another 4.3 gigs to get the compression completed and create an ISO for burning.

Loco you are the man/woman.
I feel like such a jerk. Everytime I burned, DVDS didn't give me the option to save or not (or did I miss that too)- it just left a copy on my HD. I just deleted them all and it's gettin' smokey in here ! !
Thanks man/woman.

Man please...LOL

You are welcome. You are also not given the option to save because the image has to go to your HDD to be transcoded. You do however, if you are burning with DVD Decrypter or Imgburn, have the option of deleting the image after the burn is complete. This is not recommended though, just in case your burn fails, you still have the image to make another copy from if you need it.

As for the VHS, I'm sure there is a way, but I don't know how. Sorry.

Happy burning.

@big24

You should have a folder on your HD where you placed the movies the first time that you ripped them. You would go to that folder and delete them.

If you are letting the program decide where you put them you will have to use explorer to find the dvd files.

I created a folder specifically to put ripped movies into so that I would always know where they are when I need them or want to delete them.

PS turn of the caps lock. Against forum rules.
