Problem converting 2 .avis to DVD

Here's my problem (hopefully somebody can help me),

I've got a movie that's split into 2 parts, each about 700MB and an hour in length. I use AVI2DVD and rename the files with CD1 and CD2 at the end. And I see that AVI2DVD creates a new avi file named "XXXX CD joined" or something similar, but it only puts out the VOB files of the first half of the movie. Any ideas on what im doing wrong? I've even tried a standalone AVI joiner but AVI2DVD only gave me the VOB files of the first half.

Try joining the two files with Boilsofts AviMpegRmWmv joiner. Once they are joined, use WinAvi video converter to encode it to DVD and then burn with Nero.
