Sup people at AfterDawn,

Would it be possible to burn 4 DVD's at the same time,
and save time instead of doing them one by one.
This is what Im thinking.

IDE 1 ----- Primary +Hard drive (For Windows & Programs)
\---Secondary +Hard Drive (For Iso's)

IDE 2 ----- Primary +DVDRW DL (Burner #1)
\---Secondary +DVDRW DL (Burner #2)

Host Controller
PCI - IDE 3 ----- +DVDRW DL (Burner #3)
\-- +DVDRW DL (Burner #4)

Now considering that there is 4 Burners available.
Im thinking of opening DVD Decrypter and then ISO Write and then when it says Destination I find the Drive and select it. I'll also do this for the other drives as well.

The question that keeps bothering me is, Won't the DVD become a coaster since Im burning images to 4 Devices from 1 Hard Drive?

Like I know hard drives are capable of doing so much but is'nt this a little to much, or is there another method of doing this. I mean think about it people spend tons of money on DVD Duplicaters. Using this method will save money especally when burners individually cost around 40 to 50 bucks each. Or is there another method?

Thanks for listening people at AfterDawn and tell me what you guys think.Note Im not pirating if thats what most of you think, just want to build a DVD tower without having to spend a thousand dollars on a DVD tower.

my understanding is that (certainly with Nero, i'm assuming other programs are the same) you have to be burning the same data to the different burners

Main PC ~ Intel C2Q Q6600 (G0 Stepping)/Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3/2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500/Zalman CNPS9700/Antec 900/Corsair HX 620W
Network ~ DD-WRT ~ 2node WDS-WPA2/AES ~ Buffalo WHR-G54S. 3node WPA2/AES ~ WRT54GS v6 (inc. WEP BSSID), WRT54G v2, WRT54G2 v1. *** Forum Rules ***

@paiger651 - was that 2 separate sessions of Nero running then, as i keep reading that you tick the 'multiple burners' tickbox then the burners have to do the same data/movie

Main PC ~ Intel C2Q Q6600 (G0 Stepping)/Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3/2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500/Zalman CNPS9700/Antec 900/Corsair HX 620W

Yup like both burning at the same time, and the Iso is coming from 1 hard drive. Like for example.

1 Hard drive ====== 2 DVD Burners burning at the same time.

(Burning Same Iso)

Cause I can open 2 DVD Decrypter windows and select the destination to be drive E and the other to be drive F, and then select the burn icon.

I know its possible I just need to know whats my chances of getting a coaster.
