Hi guys (and gals!),

Could anyone please advise the correct (or optimum) settings for UMD Emulator V0.8C. My PSP has firmware version 1.50, and I also have WAB Version Changer on my Memory Stick. I use this for loading ISO game files.

Please let me know what you have found to be the best settings.

Thanks and regards,

Lee.

Hi... TO make ISO's work on your PSP useing UMDEMULATOR you will need to arange the folders in the following way.

1. Open your downloaded UMDemulator and you will see tow folders: one named "PSP" and the otherone named "UMDEMULATOR".

2. Connecto yur PSP into your computer with the USB cable and once you have done this a screen will be opened in which there should be a folder named "PSP". Inside this folder there should be for other folders: "GAMES" "PHOTOS" "MOVIES" MUSIC".

3. Open the zipped umdemulator and open the "PSP" Folder, then open the next folder named "GAME" and the extract the items inside this foldre (UMDEMULATOR and UMDEMULATOR%) to THe "GAME" folder of the PSP.

4. Extract the "UMDEEMULATOR" folder from the zipped UMDemulator to the root dierctory of the PSP and put it just beside the "PSP" folder

5.Create a folder in the PSP root directory named "ISO". This is where you will put the iso's you have.

So now the root directory should look like this:

+ PSP
| |
| +MUSIC
| +PHOTOS
| +MOVIES or VIDEOS
| +GAMES
| |
| + UMDEMULATOR
| +UMDEMULATOR%
|
+UMDEMULATOR
| |
| +core.bin
| +menu
|
+ISO <-- Put isos here

IN case you need it this is how the UMDemulator zip folder should look:

+PSP
| |
| +GAME
| |
| + UMDEMULATOR } Both of these folders should be
| + UMDEMULATOR% } put in the Game folder of your PSP
|
|
+UMDEMULATOR <-- This should be put in the root directory of your PSP
| |
| + core.bin
| + menu
|
|
+REadme

Once this is done just put an iso in the iso folder and go back to the main menu in your PSP and go to games, the to the memory stick icon and The UMDEMULATOR should be there (DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE CORRUPTED DATA). Open it and select DIRECT LOAD OR COPY LOAD in the Iso emulation mode and start emulation. You may want to follow these settings They work for several games includeing championship manager:

CPU/Bus speed : 333/166 mhz
Iso emulation mode : copy load
Disctype Iso : Game
Disctype Umd : Game
Updater Icon : ORIGINAL
Use boot.bin : ON
Regioncode Override : ON
Regioncode game/video/audio : REGIONFREE

Flash0 emulation : ON
Flash1 emulation : OFF

Hope You can get the games running ... Tell me if you finally made it
Goodluck
