Right here's the rundown, I got two DVD's which I would like to burn into one 4.7GB DVD with all the interactive DVD menus, subtitles, audio outputs, special features etc.

And I would like to put a master DVD menu which will let me choose which DVD movie I would like to watch (goes to the selected Movie's original menu) each time I put the DVD in my DVD player.

If anyone has any recomendations on which software I would need to complete this then please reply with a solution. Thanks

The easiest way to do this would be using DVDReMake Pro's Join feature. It's commercial software but IMHO it's worth every penny. With enough research and work you can do it with other software as well (probably most or all of it free), but I couldn't tell you exactly how.

You could have already had a link if you had just gone to the Software tab at the top and done a quick search:

Two movies, full menus + your own personal menu = somewhere in the vicinity of a terrible backup.

You are going to have to compress that thing down to about 20%. Your movie is going to be VHS or worse quality.

High quality is not an option regardless what program you choose to use, if you plan on burning that much data to a 4.7 gig media. If you want high quality you're going to have to buy a dual layer dvd burner and dual layer media.
