It would help if you post your failed Nero Burn Log. It can be found in My Computer/Program Files/Ahead/Nero/Nero History. Also Memorex are really not very good media, you should use better like Verbatim, Sony, Maxell or Fuji. Memorex gives many people failed burns, myself included. If you are going to use this media keep the burn speed down, to adjust for the errors you are going to get.

This is a biggie for you. You need to upgrade your RAM chip. You have very little to work with. Minimum should be 512mb and 1gb would be better.

You need to set your target size in your burn program to 4300 so that you do not burn too close to the edge of the media. Burning too close will cause issues with freezing and picture pixelations.

Make sure you put a blank disc in the drive.

Burning too fast, slow down to 4x til you get the process down.

That's what I see so far.

Yes, you can set your target size in DVD Shrink. In the main screen of DVD Shrink go to Edit, preferences...in the first window that pops use the drop down box to say custom, then type in 4300 in the box beside of it. Target size reset.

It's probably the ram issue right now. Burning is very CPU intensive and with so little ram it is bound to freeze things up.

Get the upgrade and then give er a go.

Just another option, try this to see if you can get a successful burn.

get imgburn here and install it:
imgburn.com

Have shrink save the output file as an ISO image, try and burn the image using imgburn and see what happens (if successful, see if it plays on a stand alone).

This could lead you in a different direction in trying to solve this problem.

I agree upgrading your ram should make a difference. If you are going to uninstall and reinstall Nero make sure you use the clean tools to get out most of the leftover files, and clean out your registry.
