Hi qaa,

Use Nero. Open NeroVision Express, choose make DVD,add your .AVI files, and let NVE take care of the rest. You might have to adjust the quality settings to make the resulting file fit into a 4.7 gb DVDRRw.

You can not Fit 4 Hours on a DVD useing "Nero Vision Express" with any Sort of Quality because to Fit 4 hours on a DVD you would need to use the "Half D1 DVD Standard" and since Nero Vision Express is a Very Basic Half Assed Program it only Supports One of the 4 DVD Standards so to Fit 4 Hours on a DVD with any sort of Quality you will have to use a totally Different Method and Software for creating DVD"s....

Pluss "Nero Vision Express" is One of those Programs that once you Learn it you should Graduate to something More advanced that will Give you More Menu Options and Bring you Much better quality and allow you to Utilize all of the DVD Standards which will allow you to fit from 4 to 6+ Hours Of Video on a Single DVD.......

If you would Like to Learn how to Put 4+ hours on a DVD and don"t mind learning a More Complicated Method then let me Know and I"ll try to explain it to You....

Cheers

What you have to do is Not use those Basic AVI to DVD programs because they do not give you any advanced options and No menu"s either which you Need if you are going to put more than one Movie on a DVD....

If you want to Put 4 hours on a DVD then what you need to do is use a Standalone Mpeg encoder Like TMPGEnc and encode your files to Mpeg-2 at 352x480 For NTSC or 352x576 for PAL with a Video bitrate of about 2350kbs and an audio bitrate of 192kbs....

After you have encoded your Files useing those settings you will need to use a DVD authoring program so you can add your Menu"s and Chapters and to author it all to DVD....I suggest something like "Tmpgenc DVD Author" or for more advanced DVD"s try "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" or any program as long as it doesn"t re-encode your Files and as Long as it supports authoring Half D1 standard DVD"s.......

cheers
