Problem with fliptop - loud noise!

Hi all

I am currently using the fliptop + Swap Magic combo, and mostly things work fine. However, for one or two games - such as one Japanese game I bought, things don't work.

During loading (especially just before a cutscene), I can hear a very loud grinding/clicking sound but this goes away once I open the fliptop cover. However, doing this has the negative effect of the disc sometimes spinning out of the PS2!

Since the loud noise goes away after I open the fliptop cover, I assume it has something to do with the installation of the fliptop - does anybody know what the problem is, or have encountered something similar?
