Hi everyone~
I used to modify games on my ps1 back in the ol' days.
Modify...not cheat (well most of the time)
Stuff like enabling Lara Croft to climb any surface, or turning players into SD-Versions of themselves in Darkstalkers 3 when being hit.

Now I own a ps2, and I would love to play as Hunk in RE4 Storymode or change the panties in soul calibur 3 to skin color :P...

So I went to my local Gameshop and bought an AR MAX Evo...
...
It does not allow freezing and searching for cheats like the ps1 AR...
This sucks, I wanna mod my games, what can I do...?
I thought it uses a dongle, but the new version just seems to be a DVD.
And I doubt I can just create a network connectoin with the AR ,like the ps1-version with a serial cable...

I searched on Google, but searching for Playstation 2 results in hundreds of useless hits :(

I've read about PS2 Linux kits, and remote debuggers, but everything too vague.
I believe I'm capable of using almost any debugging/disassembling/memory alteration tool whatever tool ,but that's no use unless I find them first :P
I doubt that there are AR Clones for the PS2(or memory adress->AR Code converters,or DO they exist?),but what about remote Debugging Clients?

So, anyone out there who can give me some hints?

Thanks in advance!
