I originally used DVDshrink along with BURN4FREE. This worked fine for awhile until I tried to burn newer DVDs. I have read the other forums. I have tried AnyDVD and DVDfab Decrypter along with DVDshrink and BURN4FREE and then also DVD fab with CloneDVD2. However, my computer is unable to read the dvd after it is done burning and my DVD player just says "loading" or "reading" for a long period of time...can anyone give me a straight detailed answer on how to burn newer DVDs? Thanks to anyone who wants to help.

Welcome to the forum. What is the blank media you are using for burning as I think that is where the problem is. I have yet to have any problems burning any DVD
Just as it is Location, Location, Location in Real Estate with DVD burning it's Media, Media, Media. Prefer Taiyo Yuden but Ritek, Verbatim and TDK have all done well by me. All of Japanese manufacture. Media from China, Taiwan or anywhere else just doesn't seem to work as well. Also burn speed could be another reason. Although I have never had a problem with 8X with good media I have haard where others swear that should not burn at more than 4X. All my DVD players, except my Panasonic DVD recorder, have no problem with burned DVDs. If burning DVD+ you may have to set booktype. Look at guides or do a thread search, as I know this has been discussed before by people more knowledgeable about that. When I have just burned a DVD I sometimes have it hang up on the initial load into my DVD player, which corrects after opening and closing once or twice more. Once it is read never seem to have a problem again. All I can think of is the laser initially has problems reading the DVD. If reloading doesn't work then it is back to the media. Look around at places like Supermedia.com and Shop4Tech.com for specials on the Japanese manufactured DVDs. Stay away from the cheaper brands even though it is tempting to get 100 DVDs for $25 (US) you'll have a bunch of coasters for New Years if you do.
Also I use AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 and haven't had an issue with any of the new movies. AnyDVD works with Decrypter and Shrink. I believe I heard the DVD43 has conflicts with AnyDVD if both running. Hope this helps!
Happy New Year and good luck.
And if you didn't catch it the first two times around, make sure you are using quality media such as Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan).
