Setting Up Surroundbar Center Speaker to Reciever

Hi. I am really new to surround sound systems, so I tried setting up my new Polk Audio Surroundbar to my existing Sony AV1070 reciever. Its an old reciever, however it does have Dolby Pro Logic Decoder. However I was over at the Sony site getting the online manual for it and unfortunately it only has the AV1070x manual, with one noticeable difference. The AV1070x does have a center speaker input while my model does not. So my question is where is the best place to input the center speaker, or should I just buy a brand new reciever and save me the trouble?

You can get new receivers fairly cheap now, with real DD 5.1 surround. Pro Logic is ok, but not as good as real 5.1 surround.

You can go without a center speaker (Phantom Center). Your two fronts will simulate a center speaker. This works with a Dolby Digital receiver. I'm guessing it will with Pro Logic receiver too..............

do you have a sub?
some subs have inputs in and you can wire your speakers from there..

I do have a sub with input in. So you think placing the center speaker wires into the sub will help produce a better center sound then what I am doing now?
