I've noticed that lots of people are having those out-of-sync problems with the audio after avi files have been converted to mpeg-2 (dvd-compliant). I've been having this same problem, and have had no luck attempting to decompress the audio before converting to mpeg-2.... i have no problem decompressing it but the new audio source doesnt fix the sync problem. I was wondering if there's any way to possibly mux the decompressed audio source AFTER the avi has been converted to mpeg? for example loading the vob files and muxing a decompressed .wav audio source into them? any suggestions are much appreciated!
