radioshack if u want to buy locally if ur in the states.

just buy the LED's and some resistors, most radioshacks have a link to a website to verify what size resistors you need, if i remember PS2 internals are 12volts. otherwise google for Oznium, they sell led's and cathodes for pc's and automotive and general home applications, they might have what your looking for.

did u search for xps mods? i'm guessing you didn't, cuz their website is gone/down/non-exsistant. so they're probably gone.

you just need to tap into the fan power (12v) and run the wire to ur resisitor then to the led.

i don't know of any DIY tutorial for it, but i'm sure there is one, try searching through AD or maybe the site u got ur clear case from offers a kit to do the led's?

1. Clear See Thru Flip Top Case

3. 100 LED Holders

4. 50 5MM Blue Flashing Leds

Does anyone have any ideas on a material to mount these on such as cardboard??

I used one ultra bright aqua colour led in my slimline, i connected to the 5V output from the USB port, more safer then having a fan not running at optimum performance.

iHackPS2.org has a Slim Clear Case w/ XCM 240 Lights for 40 $. I bought one and looks AWESOME. You Plug it in to the fan port but there is a Spliter so the lights and the fan can be one at the same time.
