Help! How do I write to DVD-RW?

I formatted my DVD-RW but when I try to copy and paste files I get the message I can't. Do I need to use Nero to add files to a DVD-RW like a DVD-R?

Yes you need to treat your DVDRW the same as your DVDR (Software etc)

Also, you can use packet writing software to use your DVD-RW the way you are trying to.

I thought that when I formatted the DVD-RW with InCD (Nero) that I was using packet writing software.

If InCd doesn't allow packet writing can the DVD-RW be reformatted with software that does or do I need to start with a new disc?

Hello,

InCD is packetwriting software... If you are using that and have formatted it correctly you should be able to drag files over to the CD and generally treat it like a floppy disk.

Do you have the newest version of Incd?

I tried the newer version. I reformatted the RW and still get the message the disc is read only. I also can't record to it like a DVD-R with Nero. ?????
