edward2, if the first Two discs Ripped OK then it?s probably not protection that?s the problem..
First try cleaning the disc real good even if it don?t look dirty. Then check for scratches, Tooth past sometimes takes them out enough that the disc can be copied.
Next set up DVDDecrypter in the aggressive Mode to rip with:

Give it another try.. Maybe even changing drives, if you have another, and see if that works?

It was a brand new DVD just released in Canada Dec 10
I ordered dvd from Amason.ca received it dec 26/05
Watched once looked in perfect condition will try cleaning
And that was the post where I got the setting for DVD Decrypter
But Dvd X copy did work

If you look at Log it did finish but it would not burn because of missing files?or something
I dont know mabey new copy protection or something I have backed up hundreds of dvds over the past 5-6 years have not had this problem the whole things freaking me out I will get to the bottom of this

It?s hard for me to believe that just 1 disc in a 3 disc set has copy protection that?s different than the other 2?.
There are reported instances of Bad Pressings that will play in a player but will not copy in a computer and I tend to lean that way?
Since you got it from Amazon it may be very difficult to exchange..
If you also have DVDShrink try the following, if it don?t work, then you have just lost a little time but if it does then you?ll have your Backup..
Rip the file using Decrypter in the ISO Read mode instead of the File mode. Go to Mode -> ISO -> Read R
Then open Shrink and go to File -> Open Disc Image
Do the shrink thing either Full movie or re-author
Then have Shrink Burn it using DVDDecrypter, this will be in the ISO Write mode.
This has worked for me in the past but sometimes it?s impossible to rip a Bad Pressing..

this is happening to me now...years of no problems but now more and more discs i cant back up.
mostly DVD Decrypter inserts dummy sectors into the ripping but when dvdshrink tries to backup it comes up with a cyclic redundancy error. does anyone have a reason for this yet? the films all play, decrypt but wont backup.
I use AnyDVD it?s not Free but has a 21 day trial and you can get a discount if you put ?Afterdawn? in the box when ordering. Just run it in the background with DVDShrink and it works like a charm.
