Hey. I know my problem may have been reported elsewhere on the forums. Unfortunately, I did not find the solution I was looking for. My problem is as follows: Whenever I boot up swap magic 3.6 in my ps2 (dvd/cd), it gets stuck at the Swap Magic screen. Therefore, the load program screen doesn't come up and I can't play my backups. The thing is, it started up right around the time I tried burning Capcom Vs. Snk 2 on a imation 700mb CDR. I ran it with the cd Swap Magic disk on two occasions. The first time, the disk didn't work (got a blank screen). Left the imation disk in there for a while, probably 5 minutes. I also ran it again a 1/2 hr later also leaving the imation disk in there for 5 minutes and it still didn't work. I'm just wondering, is there anyway I can fix this problem without buying a new laser or swap magic disk. Also, is the cogsloader solution good?, cause it seems as though you still need the load program screen. Lastly, I'm not planning on opening my ps2, unless I HAVE to clean the lens or HAVE to adjust the voltage. Please, if anyone has had similar problem, please tell me how you fixed it. Also, if anyone has heard of this problem or has a solution to it, please tell me. Thank you.
