Hello, Just bought a PSP and am trying to hook up to the net. BVased on the posted messages I was able to get up to the point where it is asking for the WEP on the wireless router. I tried what I thought might be the serial number which turned out not to be it. Can someone please point me in the right direction as how and where to locate the WEP number. Your assistance is greatly appreciated

Sam

Hi... I found these steps and it really helps me cause now i can connect to the web with my psp.
1. you need a wireless router
2. on your psp go to setting.
3. scroll to network setting and press X
4. select infrastructure mode
5. select connection
6. you can name it anything you want. example internet, your name etc
7. push the right direction key to go to the next menu
8. select scan option and let it pick your WLAN setting
9. once it picked it, push the right direction arrow to go to next
10. select custom for Address setting
11. push right direction key
12. leave IP address detting on Automatic
13. push right direction button
14. select Manual for your DNS Setting
15. push right arrow to next menu
16. Enter 67.171.70.72 by using the up/down arrow. 1st the 67 then enter(X) then 171 etc and so on
17. push the right key to the next menu.
18. Select" Do Not Use" for proxy server setting
19. push right key to next menu
20. push right key again to next menu
21. push the X button to save setting
22. do a quick test of the connection to see if it works
23. now go back to the name that you created to connect to the net and updated to the newest version then it would ask you to restart after that you should see an icon of the internet ready to be used. good luck with your new toy
