Playback on stand alone is in black and white?

I made my first AVI2DVD (DVD-R) and everything went great except for the playback on my stand alone DVD player (Pioneer DV-255) was in black and white. Tryed it on a friend's stand alone (Sanyo) and it was in color. This DVD player is fairly new and supports VCD's (which I've been veiwing no problem)...used DVD Decrypter to burn and thats about it please help...Thank you

Does your player support both PAL and NTSC format video? If it only supports PAL, NTSC content might be shown black and white and vice versa.
