Ok, so I'll go ahead and admit on the front-end that this is prolly a silly question, but my inexperience and patience are getting the best of me.

Could the combination of a backup used with SwapMagic cause the actual gameplay speed of a game to increase? Like watching a video in fast forward. Thats the best way I can describe it.

Pleae excuse the question if indeed it's not possible. I'm just a paranoid noob.

No. If you get FMV/loading problems, it'll usually be lag, or skips, due to bad media or a bad burning process that you used on your backups.
