I've been capturing home video of a camcorder and also a little bit of movies to watch on my dvd player(pioneer,works real well with vcd).

i have ripped a couple dvd's just to test but i mostly do the same as you except i make bmx, skateboard and music vids. apex ad-703

johnbmx thats cool. I have just about a ton of stuff on vcd now. friends trip out when they watch movies at my house (wink, wink.)Tha and my friends like it when they can see them selves on tv without having to hook up a camcorder, VCD is te coolest.
