I have just downloaded dvd43 and I am getting ready to install it but had 2 questions before doing so.

1. Is there a guide available or is it necessary?

2. In some of the reviews it was mentionned that you should go to start/run/msconfig and uncheck the dvd43 so that it does not run on start up. Is this recommended and if so, how do you get it running again?
You people are so helpful to a newbie. I do read the threads thoroughly but sometimes do miss things. (senior moment)

The reason that you would use msconfig to turn it off is so that I will not start up on every boot of your machine. To turn it on just double click on the shortcut icon on the desktop. You will then see the icon in the task tray.

To use it, I would assume as I don't have it myself, you would double click on it to get the icon in the task tray. Then insert the DVD that you want to back up, allow a few seconds for the face to flash, and then open the ripping program that you use. (Similar to AnyDVD, which I do have).
