Strange watermark on avi movie playback

After downloading a movie off kazaa a wierd symbol/watermark (I'm guessing from whoever ripped it) stayed in the top left hand corner of the movie when it played. It is really annoying and I'm wondering how I could remove it! (the movie is an avi)

It has been hard coded into the video so it cannot be removed.
