I'm working on backing up the 2 disc version of sin City to 3 seperate discs. The first would have the theatrical cut of the movie with commentaries from disc 1 of the original set, the second will have the individual stories from disc 2 of the original set. For the third disc I want to have all the extras that were ripped from discs 1 and 2. I was hoping there would be a way to have a new main menu that would brach off in 2 directions, to the original menu structure of disc 1 and 2. Is that possible without being too much work? failing that how would I go about making a menu with an entry for each extra feature from the vob files that used to be on two seperate discs? I have access to dvd studio pro.

Because that set is loaded with stuff I've kept, I just made 100% backups ripping to ISO with DVDDecrypter and burning Dual Layer discs with IMGBurn.

Sometimes u just need to backup the entire disc...

What I meant to say was that since that set was loaded with worthwhile stuff I just made Dual Layer copies to keep everything instead of shrinking or dumping features.

Just an option to consider rather than making 3 discs....

Or he could just use DVD Shrink and make 3 seperate sets of the stuff he wants....

I have the same edition of sin city in my hands, but i can rip it....
i used, DVD Shrink, clone dvd2 and DVD Decrypter, but they don't work with this movie (with the other 500 i ripped ...no problem)

they keep tlling me things like "cyclic redundancy error", the discs are new, no scratches.....

what sw did you use to rip it?
is there a new anticopy in the wild?
help please!!!
