Ok Im prolly an idiot but I cant get anything wo work.
Ive been reading this site for a while and tried a few guides and still nothing.

Ive downloaded dvd shrink 3.2 and i have nero express 5 on my computer.

I load the dvd and it scanned it first. then i try to make a backup and i get an error saying;

"copy protection error
incorrect function"

or "copy protection error, something about the I/O device.

Ive tried several dvds and ive tried using the deep scan and not using it.

I have it set up according to scuba petes guide and several others ive tried.

what am i doing wrong?

and another thing, the only options i get are iso image or hard disk, the burn with nero option isnt there even though i have the box checked.

DVD Shrink may not support a Nero version that old. You can also download Imgburn and DVD Shrink will give you the option to automatically burn with it. As for the I/O error, in DVD Shrinks preferences there is an I/O overlap option which if unticked could cure that error.

Which program gives you the copy protection error?

What is the title of the movie?
