off the subject of the cave for a min does anyone know why clone dvd never actually burns the movie i have only had one movie actually burn with clone dvd ive used it to compress files but always had to burn with shrink and nero when i did get something to burn i could believe it!!!! also im having problems burning the cave also. ive up graded to the new fab using anydvd and shrink now im trying to run it though vobblanker then im going to try shrink again. i tried using fab with clone dvd and any dvd but got up till the movie need to burn and clone wont burn it any ideas...........by the way this sony crap i just figured it out 1 month ago ive been able to back up all sonys why is the cave any differant? thanks for any help

you need to learn how to use CloneDVD, shrink doesn't burn, CloneDVD does. just go to the CloneDVD hohe page and read the instuctions on how to use it.

shrink automacticlly starts burning with Nero ive been using it for a year almost clone dvd i just started using a month or 2 ago and ive never been able to fiqure out why it never does burning throws a error every time its gets to the burning part. but in the past i have had 1 movie that did burn with clone. now if i compress with clone ive been able to open them files with shrink and burn that way like i did with madacascar im just trying to fiqure out what im doing wrong with clone thks

yeap, that's right, shrink uses Nero, CopyToDVD, or decrypter to burn. clonedvd2 has its own burning engine.

There is a guide in my signature for CloneDVD. You should check it out. I wonder why you would go from clone to shrink when clone does it all from start to finish?

i think i fiqured it out i wasnt highlighting were it ask what drive my burner is in i thaught because it read right it would burn there but apperatly i was wrong just did the cave and burned the cave with clone all i did differant was highlight my drive and it did the whole process i trying again as we speak so ill know if that solved my prob. thanks for the replys
