I have this software, and it seems to be great (v. fast, one-click encoding, great video quality) EXCEPT that on my mp4's, the audio becomes progressively more and more out of sync with the video (I live in the UK and all my DVDs are PAL - I wonder if this could be anything to do with it - i.e. is the 25fps PAL to 29.97fps NTSC conversion going wrong somehow)

Is there a way to set the program up to ensure that audio & video are in sync? The AV Synchronise option doesn't seem to do anything :o(

Any help at all is very much appreciated...!

You may try to rip dvd to psp using yasa dvd to psp converter. It works well for me so far. the link below is its tutorials.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've managed to solve the issue, after much frustration(!)

Unchecking the "Deinterlace Filter" option box in preferences allows me to rip clips with perfectly synced audio and video.

Hope this helps someone else!
