I just recieved Supermediastore's own house brand of DVD-rs....maybe i just got bad luck with a bad batch...BUT anyway here are the results. (by the way, when using Meritline's house brand dvd-r's, with the same burner, burning software, everything the same, i had 100% success , 50 out of 50 came out perfect, also the Princo dvd-rw's i used were 100% success as well)

1) all discs, regardless if they are coasters or not, have spots on the dye.

2) Picture freezes, especially on data discs (dvd backups) that are 4+ GB. this happened on 4 out of 10 tries.
so in summary, success% is 60%.
