I was having problems burning the Cinderella Man. I have ANYDVD running in the background, and when I open up Shrink, I get an error that says something about Navigation Error. So I was reading around and found that DVDFab works if Shrink does not. So I downloaded Fab. Now with AnyDVD still running, I bring up Fab and click start. The ripping in total last over an hour! Thats pretty long. IS it always this long to rip a movie with this program.

Let me know if I'm doing something wrong, or of another faster way to burn this movie.

Oh and I also tried using CloneDVD but it stopped in the middle of the disc and gave me those error messages about dirty or scratched discs.

HELP!!!

If you are ripping with DVDFab decrypter you do not need to have AnyDVD running at the same time.

I would think that they would rip in less 20 minutes though. Have you checked your DMA settings to make sure that your system has not slipped into PIO mode.

Use this guide to check:

Hope this helps.

DMA is fine..

Although when searching for the Primary and secondary IDE channels, it had 2 of each listed.

I would switch it out for a newer copy, but this DVD is hard to find.

hey,
Try this and see if it makes a difference,

Click Start, Run and type Regedit, OK
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. The ide channel that your dvd rom drive is on will either be 001 for ide channel 0 or 002 for ide channel 1. Open the correct channel and delete MasterIdDataCheckSum and SlaveIdDataCheckSum.

And then restart your computer and you should be ripping and burning dvds in no time!
