i've been researching info on the max drive for a friend and i'm trying to find the easiest way to go about doing this. first off, what i want to do is download a roster online and load it to the ps2. he has a spare 128 mb thumb drive laying around, and from reading through this forum it seems as if that can be used as a memory card. my main question is how do i go about doing this, and what software do i need rather than shelling out $30 for the max drive? i saw in a post from magus57 saying that you can send some money to datel for a replacement disc. is this the only software needed? i don't need the codes and cheats, so i don't need action replay. am i correct in saying that? then after that the thumb drive can be used as a memory card. is this all possible, and if not can anyone lead me in the right direction?

Bump.. I am also quite curious. Is there some way I could dl the software that is needed to convert a jumpdrive to a mem card for PS2.
