the code worked but its not permanent
and I dont have the cable to do the software thing
but it works with the code but I cant turn the phone off Everytime I do I have to type the code again

Its the Samsung e700 Data Cable, prob can get one for under $10 - I guess both the serial and usb work from what I read on the other site but I would post to make sure
