I just tried to dub an old vhs tape to dvd. It worked but the picture is extremely contrasty/bright on the dvd. The tape itself looks fine. Does anyone know if it is normal for the machine to up the contrast/brightness so much that you lose detail? (Whites are way washed out, etc.) I have tried all black leval controls. Thanks.
