Hello I am new to this forum. I have been backing up my dvds for about a month now..I had some trouble with the cave and with the gospel. I rip the dvd to my hard drive using dvd fab, but when i open the dvds files into dvd srink the program does not allow me to compress the main movie. Therefore i cannot make it small enough to burn to a disc. Has anyone had this problem or have any ideas...thanks

LB

Which program are you trying to compress with?

If you are using DVDShrink you need to set the target size to 4300.

You can always shrink it twice.

lblaze,
You are using DVDFab Decrypter so now use VobBlanker right after that and then use Shrink to compress. I used AnyDVD w/ no problems

The answer to "THE CAVE" is here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/282892 -- I made that mini guide, especially for Newbies or for those that have not made any successful backup yet. Check it out and I GUARANTEE YOU 100% that you'll have a successfully working "full disc" within roughly an hr.

Good luck on following the mini guide.
