Hi. I have the vob files of a movie, containig all the streams in the original dvd. Problem is that i am creating an avi with 2 audio tracks, and i want to extract from the vob the two AC3 streams before processing the audio. that is cause i want to compress them first and then see exactly how much space i can use for the video final dimension. To make a long story short: does someone know a way to extract a single AC3 stram from a vob file without processing video?

Use DVDtoAVI as it is described in the DivX guides on this site.

With DVDtoAVI you can extract each audiostream separetly using the 'audio -> track number' menu. To get an overview of the streams, check the smartripper infobox or use a DVD software player...
