PSP USB CABLE!!!!!!

I got a PSP usb cable with the PSP Giga Pack and whenever I connect the PSP to my PC, the PC doesn't detect the PSP. PLEASE HELP!

try a different cable. I usedone from my digital camera and it worked a treat (bloody thing supplied by Sony is so short it would only work with a laptop anyway

Are you putting the psp on USB mode first ?
even if you connect the cable, it will only be detected by the PC if you switch USB mode on.

To switch USB mode on, scroll all the way to the left of the PSP menu and look for a USB icon and choose that.

I tried a different USB cable (from a camcorder) and I still got the same results.

I know what to do, take out all other usb devices you have plugged into the computer and plug the psp in to your computer alone.
