Ok, I've searched through this forum for a couple of hours now and still can't find an answer. I'm trying to convert an Avi file to Mpeg so I can play it on my DVD player. I've done this before but i have a problem with this one movie. First off the AVI audio is out of sync, all is fine until about 10 secs. into the movie then the audio goes way off track about 20 secs of a skew(the audio plays to early). Ok so I've taken Delta's helpful hints and uncompressed the audio into a wave(when i open up virtualdub it says the audio is in VBR, its suposed to be in CRB right??). So I open the movie and goto audio-full prosessing mode and change the sampling rate from 48000 to 41000 all that, and save the Wave file seperately. Now i open up TMPGEnc and select the AVI file and the Uncompressed wave file and encode it, but the audio is still off. So now i open up VirtualDub again and do the same with the audio and select direct stream copy for the video and save the new AVI file, But i still get a audio video skew of about 20 secs.. I'm all out of ideas, I'm about to throw my computer out the window can someone answer my question????
