did an hdd upgrade from 60gb to 160gb and it work fine by there are no backups or programs showing up on my xbmc dashboard.If you look in the f drive everything is there and you can start up the games.But I really want to get my icons to show up show I won't have to look inside of the folders everytime I want to play a game.

You need to go ftp into your box, then edit the xbmc config file, im assuming you're booting straight into xbmc? Then the config file should be on the c drive. Itll be .xml You need to find where it says about games and emulators and media and change the tags to be whereever you have the stuff stored, eg. change d:\games to f:\games, etc.
