Won't erase DVD+RWs

I have been trying to erase a few DVD+RWs using Nero 6 and it won't work. I've used to the same Nero to erase CD+RWs and it erases them without any problem. Nero erases the DVDs for about 20 seconds and then just quits and pops the DVD out. Any reason why this is happening and what can be done to stop it?

Any responses will be greatly appreciated.

dont let the dvd pop out just hold it in and it will work for sure and also close all the programs, try closing all programs first then try holding the dvd in
