Have a Panasonic DMR-E80 DVD recorder. Can I record to the HD and DVD at the same time?? Please Help!

I have an event this eekend that is crucial I get recorded. i am duplicating right at the end of the event and don't have time to dub from HD to DVD. Sometimes recording straight to the DVD has been unreliable. I saw a post a few months ago of a trick to get the HD and DVD recording at the smae time. Does anyone know how to do this on the panasonic DMR-E80H. Your help would be very much appreciated!!
