i am not able to play any music on my psp.
i have created a folder called "psp" and within it created another folder called "music". i transfered a song to it and wan not able to play the music. can i play wma files?
what do i do?

You need firmware v2.6 to play wma I think, you also need to connect the psp to the internet.
If you want to play backups then don't upgrade!

FIRMWARE :

Sort of a "operating system of the hardware", an embedded instruction set built-in or flashed into a hardware equipment, such as a router, CDR drive, DVD-ROM drive, washing machine, etc.

Maybe Next Time You Dont Understand Somthing It Might Save Time BY Checking To See If Its There First :-D

As for the music part , What is ur actual Firmware Version ? ( If You Dont Know Your can check by going to the " Settings Tab " then scrolling down to the " System Settings " Icon then press " X " Scroll Down somore to " System Information " press " X " then there ya go its right there !! )

like i said u need 2.6 and a wireless internet connection before you can play wma, but if your FW is 1.5 or 2.0 then DO NOT UPGRADE as you will no longer be able to play nay backups or games you have downloaded!
