what wattage soldering iron and what kind of tip and wire is required to solder chip in ps2. Also what kind of solder. Please help.

You will neeed

1) 15 Watt soldering iron
2) Mini hot glue gun
3) Solder Flux Cleaner
4) Small soft bristle brush (to clean tined locations)
5) Some Solder

Although this is what you need to install the mod chip. Personnally, I would never install one UNLESS you have good expieirience with soldering. So theres no point bbuying those stuff and going "S#!%, I can't do this". Get a professional
