I hope someone can help...I've only been ripping for about a month or so, and although the quality of my rips seem to be better than friends attempts, I'm getting a little frustrated, ok, ALOT frustrated (!) at the amount of freeze ups that are happening on the finished product.

I use Easy VCD v1.14.0.5 and the Tmpgenc programmes (I'm blonde so needed foolproof programmes!!!). Some turn out ok, but now most of them have a lot of freeze ups happening.

I've tried all my friends suggestions, but defragging etc haven't worked.

I'm willing to try any suggestions.

I have approx 20 gig spare on an 80 gig hdd, however of the 60 gig used, I have numerous ripped movies waiting for me to burn them off...but I've been trying to resolve the problem of them freezing first!
