Hi guys I've got this kind of black blob on the bottom area of my PSP screen I can see through it but does this mean that something is wrong from the inside e.g. some sort of fluid leak or something.

Help appreciated.

Thanks

Ya if you dropped it or it was pressed on hard enough the screen is definetly broken inside, and leaked the oil. It won't mess up your psp but the screen is messed up. The only way to fix that is buy a new screen the cheapest on ebay for $40 + $5 ship.

In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

Oh I see. The blob is small at the moment, if I leave it in there will it get bigger and damage the parts inside the PSP?

Also I bought the PSP from ebay (JAP version) the man said it had an international warranty. Would Sony fix it here (UK)?

if you still have your warranty for your psp, i would find it better just to return it and receive a new psp....if not then i guess you would have to buy a new psp lcd screen, learn how to open your psp without breaking it, fix it, and put it back as it was..........:-\

I would just use the warranty to get a new one. Even if you know how to take it apart, you save money + you get a brand new PSP!

I dont think sony will replace it in the uk if your using a jap machine.

I would try telling them you bought it yourself while on a trip to japan rather than say you got it off ebay.

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent...
