Since you don't have Halo 2 on your hard drive you
will only be able to mod the new maps from xbox live content download. Ftp
into your xbox and go to E, TDATA, and click on the folder that ends in 64,
Then double click $c. The first folder contains containment and warlock,
the second deltatap(sanctuary) and turf, and the third backwash,
dune(relic), elongation, gemini, and triplicate(terminal). Create a folder
on your dextop called halo 2 map backups and copy(drag) all of these maps
to that folder. Now you can apply .ppf patches to the maps. Create a copy on your desktop of the map you want to mod, find a .ppf patch you want to use and save the patch to another folder on your desktop called mods or wutever. Now open the ppf-o-matic3.0 folder I sent you and launch the ppf-o-matic3.exe file. Click the disc on the right of the Iso file section, a browsing box should appear, and at the bottom where it says files of type CD Images, change that to All Files. Now find the copy of the map you are going to mod, select it and click open. Now click the disc icon on the right of the Patch section find the .ppf patch in your mods folder for that map, select it and click open. Then click apply. After that finishes, close ppf-o-matic and open the TF6_-_Halo2_ES folder I sent you and launch the TF6 - Halo2 ES.exe file inside that folder. A little box that says Fantastic should appear Click the Encryptomatic Signature button on the upper right corner. Find the map on your desktop that you applied the patch to, select it and click open. After it says Encryptomatic Signatue Written click OK. Exit the program. Now ftp into your xbox again, E, TDATA, folder that ends in 64, and the folder that the map you modded is in. Drag the modded map on your desktop into the right pane of FlashFXP. Then in the lower left, right click the file and click transfer queue, then click overwrite. Once it has finished transfering, go to your xbox put in halo 2 and play the map you modded, and thats it. To undo the mod just overwrite the modded map with the original unmodded map.
