I have recently stumbled on a few DVDs from which I get very poor copies (in the sense of video quality) when shrinked with DVD Shrink.
The curious thing is that the main titles with standard English audio of those DVDs are not that big, usually a bit more than 5 Giga. What makes them very heavy and difficult to shrink properly is that they have a lot of useless extras, particularly menus and multiple foreign audio tracks on the main title. Using DVDShrink I do not manage to eliminate both those features that are redundant and quite useless to me. If I stay on the main menu of DVDShrink I can drop the foreign audio tracks but I am forced to keep the complex authoring structure. If I go to re-author the DVD I can't manage to drop the foreign audio tracks.
Is there a way to reauthor the DVD (basically keeping only the main title) while also getting rid of the foreign audio tracks, all using DVD Shrink?

Yes, it can easily be done. Select 'reauthor', 'DVD browser' tab. Double click or drag the title you want (usually Title 1) for main feature. Select 'compression settings' tab and uncheck the audio tracks you don't want. Then backup as usual.
PS; read the guides on this forum (see Guides tab).

Note; under 'edit', 'preferences' and the 'stream selections' tab you can make selections of which languages (Englisn only, Spanish, etc) that you wish to select on all titles.
