I need to know exactly what software and/or hardware needed to burn AND PLAY PS2 games.

To burn ps2 games you'll need DVD Decrypter, and to be able to play them you'll need a modchip or swapmagic with a either a slidecard, a fliptop, or slimtools *depending on wether you have a fat or skinny ps2, and/or preference*
