This is my first post, though I've read through tons of posts in the last 2 weeks and gotten loads of good info. Hope I got it in the right forum.
A little background first, to cut down on questions. I've used DVDXCopy Platinum and Express for about a year with no (few) problems until recently. Began getting movies that those progs couldn't handle. Searching this and other forums taught me why - the new encryption techniques. So I stopped my lazy ways and downloaded and began learning a slew of other programs - DVD Decrypter, DVDFabDecrypter, DVD Shrink, ImgBurn, PGC Edit, VobBlanker, FixVTS. Learned my way through some of these while trying to copy Dark Water, which I finally did with DVDFab, DVD Shrink, PGC Edit (for the 32K gap between IFO and BUP files), and ImgBurn.
Now for my problem with Man of the House (R1). Ripped it with DVDFab - DVD Decrypter showed 9 suspect areas, and DVD Shrink stopped analyzing at 5% (I'm assuming because of ARccOS). Then loaded those files into DVD Shrink, with all sound tracks and subpictures. But when I preview the main movie titles, there's no voices. All the background sound is there, but the main voice track is silent. When I preview the extras the voices are there. This happens on both main movie titles. Went through the whole process 3 times, with DVDFab and DVD Decrypter, just to make sure I wasn't messing up, but still have the same problem.
I'm using a LiteOn DVD-RW SOHW-812S burner w/updated firmware, no programs running in background, XP SP2, all programs that can be updated are current version....I think that's everything. Any ideas?
By the way, this forum is killer. I'm learning so much, it's scary...
