Problems with clonedvd2..Please help!!!!!!!

I'm using clonedvd2 with dvd43 and it works great but when I try to copy movies with dvd rom features I keep on getting a message sying "Invalid block start code"
(Ps 10 vobu 4 42 7 picture reader)
This has happen with several movies like, wedding crashers, the cave,
and several others, Can somebody give me some guide on how to fix this problem.

Dump DVD43 and get AnyDVD. It is updated more often. Should solve your problems with those listed.

Got to agree with above, get AnyDVD, it works so much better with Clonedvd2 & is way better than DVD43

The reason you are being recommended to go with AnyDVD is that AnyDVD is updated much more frequently for newer encryptions than DVD43 is. Hence you can get by newer encryptions using AnyDVD when DVD43 fails. The tradeoff is that AnyDVD costs money and DVD43 is free.
You can hold off till DVD43 get updated or get AnyDVD.
There are other methods as well, such as VOB blanker. Alkohol, a user here, swears by that method.

My CloneDVD get stuck in the final part of coping the DVD (writing,erasing buffer), can closed program can exit ,can extract DVD from tray unless I restart computer. Need Help, any ideas?

@ PRCOQUI..You'll have to explain a little more in depth..What movie!Are U useing AnyDVD or DVD4Free,DVDidle
check your original for scratches,dirt,etc..This sounds like where your problem is.U might just try copying & burning later

I'm kinda worried to update my AnyDVD. I have a version that isn't exactly honest, and I'm wondering if it will be caught in the update process. Can anyone tell me?

I have CloneDVD 2.8.5.1 and AnyDVD 5.8.4.1 the problem is in all movies no matter what it is, old or new.
I try to copy and old one I alredy have and problem appears, so I belive is not the movies it's related with the program. I don't know if this is something to do with it, but the problem started when I install Nero 7, I went back to my old Nero 6.6.0.18 and still problem persist. Or is something not working with my system. I will try to uninstall CloneDVD and AnyDVD and install it again to see if problem persist.

@ PRCOQUI..WOW sounds like U might have tooo much memory...HaHaHaaaa just kidding.Don't think U would have to uninstal AnyDVD,but a good idea for Clone2.Thats funny though,have'nt heard about to many problems with clone2.I use it & like it,but I'm not real sure about letting it burn my Discs.Here of late I've noticed some Blockage in the Disc's I've burn with Clone,not real sure if it's Clone or my Player acting up.I've Got to buy a cleaner for it & see.It's no Biggy,I'm going to just burn with Nero & see if that corrects the problem first

CloneDVD 2 has never given me anything but Total Success. Not the one Slysoft sells. By Elby. Try different Media, also, be sure you update the burner firmware if it isn't up to date. Also, when you uninstalled Nero 7, did you install & run Nero's registry cleaner? You need a CLEAN INSTALL to correct Nero problems.

rick5446 I use to have the same problem and found it was my media, some time getting low price DVD's give you a lot of problem. Try to find a media that work ok with your system.
I don't give you any name because each one is different, ask here for opinion of different type maybe some one have a good idea

@ PRCOQUI...Well your right about bad media,thats why I use only TY's now..The blocking is'nt to bad..hopefully its just my player that needs cleaning..Hell its on 24-7..I rarely turn it off,mostly when I go shopping

Well, let's see. It's really a toss up since AnyDVD is the first app I've ever cracked that was caught in the update process. So, before you get all rude and talk about stupid questions, maybe you should chill. Yes I have quite alot of common sense. Enough to where I'm not going to pay for a program that I don't KNOW will fix my problem. AND by the way it wouldn't have.
BY the way, I'm not trying to upset or insult anyone, I was insulted and i don't think it was very just.

Also AnyDVD is pretty much updated on a day to day bases,so I highly recomend U get a small program called UTORRENT

But seriously, You'll sleep better knowing the program you have is honest, and secondly, you will get all of the honest updates you'll ever need from Slysoft/Elaborate Bytes. Years ago I tried the same thing you did, and after getting used to the programs, the updates no longer worked 'cuz they realized it was a cracked program. After that I saw the error of my ways.
Just my two cents worth.

I found that there is a bug in 6.6.0.18 and transplanted probably to several versions, so probably will go back to 6.6.0.16, I believe is the best Nero I got this information from BetaNews forum.

Well Nero just updated again,to fix some more bugs.Personaly I don't need the newest versions.The older ones do what need to be done for me.OLD saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

NO LONGER use 321 at all. I can customize clone to get what I want from it.. I also, just bought a much faster and newer computer and reloaded both from stored disk - with registration codes.. NO PROBLEMO!!! awesome software..

AnyDVD + CloneDVD 2 is Definitely The Best Combination to use! Pay teh Money & Buy it. Let's Help keep Slysoft in Business! If not for them, we'd ALL be in a Fix these days! Remember RE2!
